5 Books I’m Gonna Read (5BIGR) – WINTER ‘19-20
What 5 books will I definitely be reading this winter?
I will be re-reading Winter Solstice by Rosamunde Pilcher. This was one of my favorite reads of 2018!
I definitely want to dive into Winter Street by Elin Hilderbrand. In fact I am hoping I can find time for the whole Winter series. Hilderbrand’s books tend to be light and “feel-good”, but they aren’t fluff. They usually have substance, as well characters I can’t help but love.
The Stationary Shop by Marjan Kamali. This is such a beautiful book (yes, I’m talking about the cover). It’s just so pretty, I want to get it down off my bookshelves so I can admire it for awhile.
The Winter House by Joan MacCracken. Described as a heartwarming book about four women who prove that human relationships have the power of emotional renewal. This sounds like it was written just for me!
And finally, for a little variety, I want to go a little darker with The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell. Ruth Ware described it as “…rich, dark, and intricately twisted, this enthralling whodunit ties family saga with domestic noir to brilliantly chilling effect.” Sounds like a perfect winter read!
