The Vine Witch by Luanne G. Smith
Imagine a world where witches exist…where they have a role to play in the world. Now imagine that world is in France.
The Premise: Most good wineries employ a vine witch to keep things running smoothly. They help the grapes grow, they protect the harvest and support the wine making process so the vinyard can produce exceptional vintages. However, Jean-Paul Martel does not believe in witches, he believes in science. Enter Elena, a vine witch recovering from a strong, debilitating curse and returning to the vineyard she has always called home. She meets the new owner (Jean-Paul), who allows her to stay on, since her ‘grandmother’ is practically his housekeeper.
Sparks do ignite between the two, but there is more to this story than just romance. There is mystery, there is evil and of course, there is magic.
I love a good witchy book. A witchy book with wine? Now that’s a treat!!
