A Dangerous Collaboration by Deanna Raybourn
If you follow this blog, then you probably know that I love this book series. This is book 4 in the Veronica Speedwell Mystery series, and like the previous 3, it’s delectable. Actually, I will admit I enjoyed this one more than book 3, so that’s saying something!
In A Dangerous Collaboration, Veronica is invited (under slightly false pretenses) to accompany Stoker’s brother to a castle on a Cornish Isle. Stoker comes along uninvited, as he doesn’t trust his brother’s intentions with Veronica. The castle is full of interesting characters and stories of love, loss and murder abound. Soon, the group finds themselves sleuthing about, trying to solve an old mystery of their host’s long lost love.
Big on mystery and emotion, this one pulled all the heart strings.
