The Premise: Finn works as the nanny of a sweet little girl belonging to a political family. The little girl’s grandpa is a senator, and soon her father will be running for office as well. Everything they do is somehow related to either getting into or staying in office. Having no real connection to her real family, Finn falls in love with the whole Martin family. She comes and goes from their house, attending functions and events to care for 4 year old Ama.
The Girl in the Rearview Mirror by Kelsey Rae Dimberg
However, like many political families, this one has skeletons in their closet. Finn finds herself a little too concerned with protecting them. She becomes immersed in their secrets, as she does her best to protect the family from hatred and blackmail.
A story about love, betrayal and obsession…I loved the story line, it kept me wondering. I have to admit I expected a little something different from the ending, but I was not disappointed. Give it a read and see what you think!
