Mint Julep
It’s spring and the mint is coming up. But because the temps are still a little chilly, it’s nice to have a drink that feels light but is still a little warming. A nice mint julep fits the bill.
Ingredients:
2 oz bourbon
2 tsp simple syrup
3-4 mint leaves
In a Rocks glass – muddle the mint into the simple syrup, add bourbon and a bunch of ice. Stir and enjoy! You can rim the glass with a little simple syrup and powdered sugar if you’re feeling fancy!
