The Bookshop of Yesterdays

The Bookshop of Yesterdays by Amy Meyerson

Yea, another book about books!!!  That always makes me happy.

The Premise: Our main character, Miranda Brooks had an eccentric uncle Billy, who owned a bookstore.  Miranda loved hanging out with him when she was little.  He would often put together fun treasure hunts for her to enjoy and sometimes he would bring her to his bookstore and let her pick out any book she wanted!  She loved spending time with him.

Then one evening, her mother and her uncle had an argument.  The family becomes estranged and she never sees Billy again.  Shortly after learning of his death, Miranda learns that Billy has left her the bookstore and a list of clues she hopes will explain why he has been absent from her life for the last 16 years.

This book is filled with bookish goodness, family drama and interesting characters!

If you have a soft spot for books about books, this is one the checkout!
