While this clearly looks like a light summer read, there was bit more substance here than I expected.

The Premise: Daphne is a plus-size Instagram influencer.  She got her start when a video of her telling off a guy that had been bribed by well meaning friends to flirt with her, goes viral.  The incident ended her friendship with Drue, her rich and beautiful friend.

Years later, Drue shows up in Daphne’s life and we experience the complexities of their friendship, of Daphne’s insecurities, of Drue’s perfect life and of making a living by just being known online.
