Last year I read Henry’s book Beach Read and loved it.  As a matter of fact, I just re-read that to see if it was as good as I remembered (it was).  Beach Read was an ‘enemies to lovers’ romantic trop.  People We Meet on Vacation is has a more complicated ‘strangers to friends to estranged friends to friends to lovers’ storyline.  Need a flow chart?

The Premise – Poppy and Alex met in college. They are opposites, but once forced to get to know each other, they quickly learn that they complement each other well and become close friends. Poppy has a great job that requires her to travel to exotic and fun vacation destinations and she always brings Alex with her. Until a couple years ago, that is… when something happened to dampen their friendship (but we don’t know what). Now Poppy is trying to fix their relationship with another trip, but of course, nothing goes quite as she planned.

This is a cute, romantic summer read. If that’s your thing, you know what to do.
