Good Company by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney
Oh the trials and tribulations of marriages and friendships! This book is full of them.
The Premise – We meet 2 couples, Flora & Julian and Margot & David. Sweeney weaves a story, switching between their individual stories in both the past and current day. We watch the couple traverse work issues, personal issues, family issues etc. While the characters aren’t always likable, I found them to be relatable.
The result is a story about relationships, and the rocky paths they travel through the years. I found the book very enjoyable, but it received very mixed reviews. If you have read it, I would love to hear what you think!
