100 Days of Sunlight

100 Days of Sunlight by Abbie Emmons

“When life knocks you down…Get up.”

I’m not a huge YA (young adult) fan, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one!

The Premise: Tessa was in a car accident, causing her to lose her vision.  The doctors suspect it will be temporary, but the thought of approximately 100 days of blindness is more than she can handle.  She is angry, afraid and depressed.

Then Weston comes along to help, despite Tessa’s protestations.  Weston is a wise and intelligent young man, because he too has had to overcome a disability.

While 100 Days of Sunlight touches on some hard subjects, the story feels light and inspiring.  If you could use a feel-good book, get yourself a copy and enjoy.
