The Whispering House

The Whispering House by Elizabeth Brooks

If you love a gothic novel in the style of Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey, give this one a try. Just a little bit nerve wracking, without being scary.

The Premise – Freya’s sister died 5 years ago. When Freya discovers a portrait of her sister in a house she’d never been too, but near the place where she died, Freya is drawn into the lives of the people that live at Byrne Hall.

A great book to begin the spooky autumn season.
