The Maid by Nita Prose.
I don’t want to jinx myself, but I feel like I keep picking up great books lately!
The Premise: Molly works as a maid at an upscale hotel. We quickly realize that Molly suffers with social skills. While it’s never explicitly stated, Molly appears to be autistic.
Her view on what is happening around her is often a bit skewed, which is often humorous. However, her naivety and misunderstands lead her to become entrenched in some dirty business. When a prominent guest is found murdered, Molly ends up right in the middle of it all.
A clever who-dunnit that kept me interested and entertained right to the final page. Don’t miss this one!
