The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion
This book made me laugh out loud several times. I found it to be so much fun with such an insightful look into the neurodivergent character (autistic spectrum).
The Premise: Don Tillman is a bit particular about things and self-identified as socially awkward. He would like to get married, but realizes that finding a compatible partner is statistically unlikely. So, he creates The Wife Project to speed things up and to avoid wasting time dating women who won’t meet his expectations. Don enlists a couple friends to help as he creates a long and detailed questionnaire to link to his online dating profiles.
Don’s interpretation of interactions with people made me laugh. He may be socially inept, but he is a sweet man with a good heart.
I find books like this are perfect for developing appreciation for the diversity within the human race. I highly recommend this one!
