Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister
This was an interesting one. If you love to read thrillers in Fall (like I do), I’m going to highly suggest you give this one a try.
The Premise: As the book begins, Jen is home for the evening, waiting for her son to return from his night out. She witnesses her son coming up the sidewalk, running into some man, and then pulling a knife and killing that man.
Jen has no idea what is going on or why. The police are called, her husband Kelly is arguing with the cops, it’s chaos. The police send Jen and Kelly home for the night and they eventually fall asleep. When Jen wakes up the next day, she checks her phone and finds that it is the day before the murder occurs and her son is safe and sound at home.
The book just keeps moving backwards until we finally learn exactly what led up to the situation, and we hope that maybe Jen can change something to ensure a different outcome.
This book kept me turning the pages and in the end I loved how McAllister wrapped this story up!
If you like a twisty story, this is one you should surely pick up and then let me know what you thought of it!
