The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling
There are two kinds of books I love to read in the Fall. The first is twisty, creepy, suspenseful thrillers; the other is quirky, witchy, romantic books. If you enjoy that second category, this is a cute one.
The Premise: Nine years ago, Vivienne and Rhys were dating. It ended badly and Vivienne’s heart was broken. Through her tears, she jokingly broke her aunt’s number one rule…never mix vodka and witchcraft. A silly little ritual to make her feel better, turns into a real hex placed on her Ex.
When Rhys returns to town to attend the Fall festival, he finds that things just keep going wrong and his life is almost lost a couple times. Soon, Vivienne realizes that her hex may have been a bit more serious than she thought and she and Rhys have to work together to figure out how to put an end to it.
Cute, quirky and very charming, I really enjoyed this as a light Fall read.
If you pick it up, I would love to know what you think of it.
